We are delighted that Emma Soames will be coming to talk about her mother’s wartime diaries. Mary Churchill was Winston Churchill’s youngest daughter. Aged 17 at the outbreak of the war, she found herself in a unique position at an extraordinary time.
The Book is Mary Churchill’s War, and copies will be available to buy on the night.
The talk will be at : St Columba’s Church of Scotland, Pont Street, London SW1X 0BD
Doors open: 6.45pm for a glass of wine and delicious home made canapes, (included in the Ticket price)
Talk begins: 7.45pm.
Finish : 8.45pm
